I wasn’t even planning on grabbing this one. It was a grocery store audible after a stranger insisted Heggies from Minnesota was the move. Maybe she worked for them, who knows. Either way, the sausage and cheese came home with me. Oven at 450, about 16 minutes, and it came out looking legit. Thin crust, nicely browned on the bottom, and the cheese stayed put. That’s always a good sign. Nobody wants all the toppings sliding off before you even cut it. First bite was hot, crispy, and cheesy. The crust has that real crunch to it, almost tavern style. The sausage is the star though. Good flavor, decent amount, not skimpy at all. Sauce has a nice balance, not too sweet, not too bland. It honestly looks and tastes closer to a pizza you’d grab at a local spot than something out of the freezer. At around 7.49 it’s a little pricier than some frozen options, but it eats better than most of them. If you’re a sausage pizza person, this one delivers. Solid crust, lots of cheese, good meat ratio. Hard to complain. Big thumbs up from me. I’d buy it again, no question.
